Product Information
Dimensions and descriptions of goods given by us to you for any purpose are stated in good faith but as handmade objects are approximate only and will not bind Jess Rayson Designs in any way. We reserve the right to withdraw, or amend, the specification of any goods without further notice to you.
Please note we do not guarantee colour match between the same products ordered by you in separate orders.
We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on the Jess Rayson Designs Website. However, as the actual colours you see will depend on your monitor, tablet or mobile device, we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s, tablet's or mobile device's display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the product on delivery.
All sizes and measurements are approximate. We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products appearing on the Jess Rayson Designs Website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system. We reserve the right to refuse orders where product information has been mis-published, including prices and promotions.
All information and advice either published on the Jess Rayson Website, sent to you by email or shared with you over the phone has been supplied in good faith and can only be interpreted as general guidance.
Our fabrics are printed by hand on both cotton and linen fabric. Both types of fabric have natural and manufacturing variations and characteristics such as slubs and knots. Very occasionally these variations and characteristics prevent print dye from covering the full surface of the fabric. We believe this gives our fabrics a distinctive and unique character. You will accept that these product characteristics cannot be classified as faulty.
Availability of Goods
All items are subject to availability. We will inform you as soon as possible if goods you have ordered are not available.
Our fabric is cold wash only
All of our products are designed for interior use only. It is your responsibility to ensure that the product is fit for purpose for the end use you envisage. We advise washing at no more than 30*C to preserve the longevity of the handprinted item.
Pricing
We make all reasonable efforts to ensure that all prices shown on the Jess Rayson website are correct at the time of going online. We reserve the right to change prices and to add, alter, or remove special offers from time to time and as necessary.
All prices are checked by us before we accept your order. In the unlikely event that We have shown incorrect pricing information, we will contact you in writing to inform you of the mistake. If the correct price is lower than that shown when you made your order, we will simply charge you the lower amount and continue processing your order. If the correct price is higher, we will give you the option to purchase at the correct price or to cancel your order (or the affected part of it). We will not proceed with processing your order in this case until you respond. If we do not receive a response from you within five days, we will treat your order as cancelled and notify you of this in writing.
Jess Rayson Designs is not currently VAT registered but reserve the right to introduce VAT to the store if registered in the future. Any price changes will be confirmed to you at the time of ordering.
Prices
Prices exclude delivery charges and import duties. Customers will pay postal/shipping costs at check-out. Customers outside the United Kingdom are liable for additional import duties. Please contact Jess before placing your order if you live outside of the UK.
All prices are correct at time of publishing, but may change due to administrative errors or circumstances beyond our control. Jess Rayson is not liable for import duties for international shipments outside the United Kingdom.
Placing an Order
Jess Rayson may modify the terms and conditions on the Jess Rayson Website without notifying you. You agree to periodically review these terms and conditions to be aware of any such revisions. Should the revision be unacceptable to you, you agree to stop accessing the Jess Rayson Website. Your continued use of the Jess Rayson Website after any such revision(s) shall be deemed as acceptance of and agreement to abide by all such revisions. Prices are subject to change without notice. These changes will not affect orders that have already been dispatched.
Printed-to-order and Bespoke Orders sold on the Jess Rayson Website are non-stocked items. This means that every order will only be produced on payment in full of the value of the order.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you are satisfied that all details and aspects of your order are correct and suitable for your requirements including, without limitation, measurements, dimensions, product features and delivery. Jess Rayson is not responsible for any implications resulting from incorrect details and aspects of your order.
When you place an order on the Jess Rayson Website, we shall email you an order confirmation. If you do not receive confirmation of your order please contact Jess. Once you have made payment for your order and you have received your order confirmation you will not be able to make any changes to your order so please make sure that everything is correct before making your payment.
We recommend that when ordering lampshades that advice is sought from a trained professional. Jess Rayson can only advise suitable fixtures for lampshades in good faith, but does not take responsibility for incorrect fittings for your lamp fixtures. Any additional orders as a result of incorrect fixtures in orders you make will be treated as a separate order and cannot be added on to previous orders.
We reserve the right to refuse an order. If there are any problems with your order we shall contact you. We reserve the right to reject any offer to purchase by you at any time. We will take all necessary measures to keep the details of your order and payment secure.
To be eligible to purchase products on this website you must be over 18 years of age, register by providing your real name, phone number, email address, payment details and other requested information and also provide a valid delivery address and a valid credit or debit card issued by a bank acceptable to us. Please note that PO Box numbers, hotels and temporary addresses are not permitted.
Discount Codes
You may occasionally receive discount codes from us, via email or through promotional materials. Each code is unique to the recipient, is not transferable, has no monetary value and under no circumstances can it be converted into currency. Each code has an expiry date, which will be stated at the time of promotion or on accompanying promotional materials which cannot be modified. Codes can only be redeemed online.
When an order is placed using a promotional code and contains a number of items, the value of the discount is spread over each item according to the pro-rated value of that item. Any refund of an item purchased in such an order will be reduced by the value of discount attached to it. The ‘discount’ will not be refunded.
Under no circumstances can the value of a discount code be deducted from an order if that code is defective or out of date: no replacement codes will be issued.
Only one discount voucher can be used per order. If any other rules apply to a specific promotion, these will be clearly stated at the time of promotion or on accompanying promotional materials.
Shipping and Delivery
Ordered products will be shipped by Royal Mail or courier within 48 hours after production is complete, save for weekends and public holidays. Lead times for production will be indicated either on the Jess Rayson website or directly in e-mail correspondence with you prior to your placing an order with Jess Rayson. You will receive a shipment confirmation email with the shipping tracking number when the order has been dispatched.
For orders outside of the United Kingdom please contact Jess first to discuss shipping arrangements. Local customs duty will be charged to you depending upon the country in which you reside. Jess Rayson is not responsible for payment of this duty. The shipping company will contact you once your items are in customs to let you know the cost. Be aware that this may delay your delivery time as goods are held at customs. It will be your responsibility to pay the necessary charges for local authorities to release the goods.

We shall not be liable for delays and/or failures in delivery if we cannot gain access to the delivery address provided by you.

Risk of Loss or Damage
Jess Rayson carries the risk of loss or damage to the ordered products until you receive them. The products belong to you when you have received them and have paid us in full. If you return the products to us for any reason, they will become our property and be at our risk from the time we receive them.
Please note that you have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the items while they are in your possession and we hold the right to deny returns if the merchandise returned does not meet our policy requirements.
Returns Policy
All Jess Rayson products are handmade one-of-a-kind items. We also offer a Bespoke Printing service where products are made-to-order. They cannot be exchanged. We do not accept returns and will not refund unless the product is a) damaged in transit before you receive them or b) if the product is faulty.
All goods are dispatched suitably packaged for transit purposes only. You should inspect the goods upon delivery and check that no items are damaged. If goods are damaged you should sign for as such upon delivery and contact jessraysondesigns@gmail.com within 24 hours of delivery including photographic evidence of the damage. We do not take responsibility for goods that have been damaged after delivery as a result of poor handling or storage.
You must check the product for faults before installation. Should you believe that your item is faulty you must notify us within 24 hours of delivery at jessraysondesigns@gmail.com including photographic evidence.
Postage, packing and insurance incurred in the delivery of the goods to you are direct costs and cannot be refunded except where an item is faulty or the delivered order is incorrect.
If you are not able to return the goods in a perfect condition then we may need to charge you for any reduction in value of the goods as a result.
Please return goods within 20 days of receipt with a proof of postage certificate as you will be responsible for all returned goods until they arrive with us. Please email in advance and we will provide you with the postal address needed.
If the item(s) returned meet(s) our return terms, any sum debited from your credit or debit card will be re-credited to your account as soon as the item(s) are received and processed, excluding the initial shipping cost. Please note, we will not cover decorator costs or any other additional costs that arise in connection with your order from Jess Rayson as this is solely your responsibility.
Amendments to Terms & Conditions
We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any such amendments will take effect when posted on the Jess Rayson Website and it is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions on each occasion you use the Jess Rayson Website. The continued use of the Jess Rayson Website shall signify your acceptance to be bound by the latest terms and conditions.
