The artist behind the fabric

I have always had a passion for pattern and print. I find real joy in textile design and making small batches of useful yet beautiful items.

I developed my creative ideas and love of printmaking alongside my career before deciding to take the plunge to make Jess Rayson Designs my full-time job in 2022.

Working from my garden studio in Gloucestershire, UK, I enjoy carving my lino blocks and mixing my own colours, using non-toxic, washable inks. Working as sustainably as possible is very important to me.
